Hello...
I've downloaded the demo and played it once for a few minutes. I'm using: A4000T 060 50mHz/604e 200mHz, 144Megs, Picasso IV + Concierto, P96 V2. I don't use the ppcemul, I just terminate the ppc.library when ever I (try to) run Heretic II.
When I first played it, the game started, and I selected PicassoIV:640x480 16bit. The credits came up, I started the tutorial. As I moved the guy, it seemed like it was flickering to a previous frame. Then I decided to try and set the screen to a small
er size. When the screen was selected, Heretic II stopped said "Cannot open window" and ever since then, I cannot get Heretic to open on any screen. I have tried to delete the ENV: and ENVARC: variables, and selected different screen modes for it to use
, but now I always get "Cannot open window" message.
Any suggestions?
(One of the reasons why I do not use the PPCEmul is that I have tired to use it, but for some reason it takes almost twice as long, sometimes longer to boot up. )
